THE 3 WAYS I JOURNAL | COLLAB WITH OEINDRILLA

by - February 21, 2018

Today I'm going to show the three way I journal.  Oeindrilla is also going to be sharing her's on her blog (which you should seriously check out).

I'm one of those people who is intrigued by the idea of keeping a journal of everything that happens.  I can't do it, though.  But I'm also terrified of forgetting ideas and memories, so I found a wonderful way to keep track of everything within three journals.

Bullet Journal

This is the one I use the most.  I love bullet journaling.  It's such an easy way to stay organized, especially if you're of the creative sort.  My favorite part is how customizable it is.  If I want I page dedicated to my favorite books I can make one.

Smashbook

Here's my smashbook!  *insert heart-eyes*  True, I haven't done anything with it since Julius Ceaser was on the throne, but that doesn't deplenish my love for them!  Just look at how beautiful it is.  You can check out this exact smash book right << here >>

Everything Journal

I mean.  I write down everything in this journal.  The best part is that the pages are blank!  I can draw, write sideways or anything I want.  Inside are poems, quotes, bits of dialog, dreams from the night before, events I went to and lots of lists.  I also put washi-tape on the edge of every single page.  It looks so fabulous.

What is your favorite way to journal?  Do you smash/scrap book?  Would you like more post about my journals?  What do you think of the new type of feature image?

  1. Hmmm...never heard of a smashbook before. Looks interesting! I do bulletjournal, though. It's helped me with some organization problems I have. (But it's not pretty, since I'm not in the least artistic; tbh, it's mostly just a bunch of lists written in colorful pens.) XD

  3. I tried to keep a bullet journal once...that was a sad failure. XD My favorite way to journal is probably just writing when I feel inspiration. I have about five notebooks full of random ideas. I also keep a personal journal, but I write in large bursts every week or so. It's not that consistent. :P I love your washi tape idea, btw! It's very creative and pretty!!

  4. I'm the same way! I have a bullet journal (for planning mostly) and then a regular journal where I write down thoughts and dreams, and stuff. I've thought about turning it into a "smash journal" too (I've seen so many beautiful examples online).

I'd love to see more "journaling" posts from you. Like maybe…your favorite journaling supplies, or inspiration photos + aesthetics. : )

    cheers.

  5. UM, YOUR JOURNALS ARE GLORIOUS.

I'm totally the same way when it comes to journaling. I really wish I did it more often. But this post has inspired me to do so! :)

  6. I have an everything journal and a bullet journal, and use both frequently!
I loved this, as I do have a 'slight' obsession with journaling in all forms!
I've looked into smashbooks in the past, but must research them more now...
    Lovely!
