Collabs are so fun.  Especially when the person your collaborating with is Emma Louise.  Emma's been a friend of mine since birth.  She's insanely talented and the absolute sweetest person in the entire world.

Deciding on what sort of collab to do was pretty difficult, though.  But after much deliberation, we finally settled on an interview.  I asked Emma five questions and posted her answers below.  And then she did a video interview with me, on her YouTube channel.  Before you watch the video (cause I know they're fun), check out her super cool answers to my questions.

What would you say the message of your YouTube channel is?

Since I mainly do covers I don't really talk much but the message I wanted to convey was that there is good wholesome music out there, you just have to look for it and I hope I can always post godly content. That's also why I write originals because God gives me melodies and lyrics and I write them down in hopes that they encourage someone else.

Where do you see your channel in one year?

In one year I see my channel still the same, haha I honestly don't really have a set goal just taking one week at a time.

What's something you were nervous about, but super glad you ended up doing?

I was really nervous to post my original, I was so scared people wouldn't like it but when I did I got loads of encouragement and now I'm going to do my next original in the form of a music video and its pushed me to really iron out the wrinkles. Also its helped me write more originals than ever before, because there's something about friends encouraging you to do things that helps you do them, like when one of your friends is auditioning and you root for them and give them confidence.

What's the most important thing you've learned this year?

Ooh....this is hard. I have learned several important lessons this year, I don't know about you but this past year God has grown me and matured me more than I ever have. The first thing I learned is that people will always disappoint you and hurt you because they are human, but you really have to rely on God, and learn to forgive now because it only gets harder. Trust Him, which is the most important thing you can ever do. My plans for what I thought my life was going to look like were never more wrong, and God had to teach me that He is in control, not me. I don't know the future but He does. Another thing, your confidence in your identity in Christ is so key, and once you get it, it blows your mind. I had to learn that I can't please everyone and I don't need to worry so much about what other people think! If you are being the person God made you to be then you are doing well.

If you had to go on a quest in a magical land with on book character, who would you choose?

Definitely the Hobbit/Lord of the Rings! No doubt in my mind, ugh I love the Lord of the Rings and the entire story and I just die every time it's mentioned, sorry to be dramatic about it.
And now the video!  I'm actually really cringy and super awkward (especially for the first minute), so maybe you shouldn't watch it.  But Emma is absolutely fabulous, so even if you don't watch the video, go check out her channel and give her some love.  If you do watch the video, you will soon realize why I am a blogger, not a vlogger.

I know I sort of deserted the blogging world for over a week, but I was out of town and super, super busy.  I have some AMAZING things planned, though, so you guys better stick around if you don't want to miss out.

Have you watched the video?  What did you think?  Aren't Emma's answers great?  Should I start a YouTube channel?  What fantasy life would you choose to live?  Sorry for the numerous amount of collabs lately.  There are actually many more to come.
